7.1 acres planted equals
approximately 6,000 grape vines

with the following distribution...

  • 2.1 acres (30%) Zinfandel
  • 1.9 acres (27%) Viognier
  • 1.1 acres (15%) Syrah
  • 1.0 acres (14%) Tempranillo
    (grafted onto Zinfandel root stock)
  • .66 acres (9%) Cabernet Sauvignon
(grafted onto Viognier root stock in April 2020)
  • .34 acres (5%) Petite Sirah
(grafted onto Viognier root stock in April 2020)

Triassic's grape tonnage harvested in 2023 far exceeded any previous year's numbers, and most of the fruit picking took place during the last 2 weeks of October.  Between our regular picking crews, and a group of fabulous volunteers, their efforts brought in 31.32 tons of exceptional fruit. The juice from that tonnage is aging to perfection right now.

  • 10.86 tons Zinfandel
  •  5.86 tons Viognier
  •  5.16 tons Tempranillo
  •  3.10 tons Syrah
  •  3.43 tons Cabernet Sauvignon
  •  2.91 tons Petite Sirah
